The Sumulong College of Arts and Sciences (SCAS), established on March 14, 2007, continues to hone young minds in various scholastic disciplines in preparation for their active involvement in society - whether in business, governance, or civil service.
This institution is the legacy of the Sumulong Family of Antipolo, respected and well-known for their integrity, sense of duty, and service to the community. The eminent forerunners include Don Juan Sumulong - the grand old man of the opposition - and Senator Lorenzo Sumulong, the world-acclaimed nemesis of Russian President Nikita Khrushchev.
As Antipolo City evolved, the need for a higher learning institution became apparent. The fervent desire to serve the public and honor the patrimony of the late Senator Lorenzo Sumulong led to the conception and realization of SCAS.
